The right third-party manufacturer for your product

In third-party manufacturing, a licensed manufacturer makes a product that you then market under your own brand name. Many pharma marketing companies, PCD franchise businesses and new brand owners do not run a plant of their own; they have their products made by a licensed manufacturer and market the finished product under their own brand.

Contract manufacturing is broadly the same arrangement: the manufacturer makes the product to your specification on agreed terms. The two names are used loosely in the trade. What matters is that the specification, the responsibilities on each side and the price are written down and understood before the first batch.

We shortlist WHO-GMP and ISO certified units that suit your dosage form, whether tablets, capsules, syrups, ointments, injectables or something else, and compare them on these points before you commit to one:

• WHO-GMP and ISO certification relevant to your dosage form.
• A manufacturing licence and product permission that cover your composition and strength.
• Capacity for your batch size, and the smallest quantity they are willing to run.
• Realistic lead times for the first batch and for repeat batches.
• Quality systems: in-house testing, batch records and how problems are handled.
• Track record with products like yours, and how they work with clients.
• Price, compared on the same basis as every other quote.

Once you have chosen the manufacturer, we coordinate the production schedule with them, settle the packaging and artwork, and put the agreements in order. Before any consignment is dispatched, our technical expert verifies the product against what was committed, and we keep you updated until the goods reach you.

For repeat batches we already know your requirements and the manufacturer, so the next batch starts from where the last one finished rather than from a blank page.

You decide which manufacturer to work with and agree the terms with them. The manufacturer makes the product under its own licence and dispatches it to you. We guide, compare, coordinate, verify and follow through, so that you have one point of contact from the first quote to dispatch.
